Better view of my newest necklaces & Happy Mother's Day!

Tadah!
It feels like I've been gone for weeks. I've been quite bored lately and haven't felt like actually doing something after making those Mother's Day cards, however I've managed to take many pictures of things I'm going to post about (some day).

There's going to be post about nail varnishes. And also one post that will probably cover everything about my skin-, hair- and nail care. Unless I get carried away.

But today I'm going to show you my newest additions to my necklace "collection". Two I've already shown before, but I think you'll get a better view through these pictures.
And I was actually lucky to have such a great weather outside, so I didn't have to use Photogram to make them look better.

^ 1. & 2. I've already shown you guys, but here you can see how they actually look on my neck, plus the colours on the flower ball are brighter.
3. necklace is a new one. The quality isn't the greatest, but I got it mainly for the reason that I might break it apart and use the flowers for something else :P

^ 4. this one I also got so that I could use it for something else. Mainly because it has so many chains and the cost was 0,99£
5. I've really come to like this one. At first I thought I'd use the chain for something else, but after I put it on, I decided to keep it as it is.

.......

And that was it! Well, not totally. I have to tell someone how much I've also come to like the gold & white flower earrings I got a while ago. And I actually managed to take somewhat good picture of myself wearing them, and also being able to show their size better.

^ Yay, freckles!♥

.......

But the best thing that happened in the past few days? My fiancé got himself a new HTC One, so it also means that I can finally get better pictures to show everyone! :D

I think that's all for today, I'll be going to bed soon, sooo...

Latest project and new bracelets.

It has been a busy week once again.

I haven't gotten a chance to post earlier, and on Monday I went on a trip to visit my mother. So here I am, in Nummela, Finland. Still snow everywhere but spring is trying it's best. I'll be staying here till Friday, and then it's back to Tampere.

I haven't been here in two years. It's amazing how fast time goes by. So much has changed in here.

I also got a chance to meet my best friend and check out her apartment (I want it!). And trying to go and see my grandma tonight. And tomorrow it's my old school, going to go and say HI! to my old teachers.

So, anyway. I had a little jewellery project last Sunday, and today I finally had the time to take pictures.

I didn't even have internet connection until yesterday evening. My mother couldn't remember the password, and my brother is on a trip with my dad (Climbing to Himalayas! Check out Rhododendron Forest at Nepal . Amazing! ). But finally my mother got a text message from my brother, telling where they were at the moment (Tengboche Monastery) and also the password for the wireless connection.

.......

But, that's that for now, let's move on to the pictures of my jewellery project!
I had this very pretty long necklace that had a big filigree ball with a pearl inside it. But I wanted to make it stand out more. And I also wanted something to fit it.

So I bought four filigree golden leaves from eBay, and made them into earrings, pendant and a ring. I also added some pearls to the chain, and glued a flatback pearl to the ring.

^ And here they are! You can see the filigree ball in the first picture, that was the only thing in the original necklace (plus the chain of course). Personally I think they came out nice. I like how the pearls go with the golden leaves.

.......

And here are the new bracelets I got! I also have silver coloured zipper bracelet, but I left it at home. They're quite hard to get on my arms sometimes, but usually with brute force and some swear words I get them on. Taking them off is another story...

But yeah! I really like these, and they were quite cheap too. Zipper bracelets were 0,99 British pounds (1,20€), the middle bangle was a bit more, 2,something Brithis pounds, and the braided one was also 0,99 British pounds. So not bad, if you ask me.

^ Bling Bling!

.......

And that's it! I'll be posting more soon, I just got a call from my friend, and we'll be going to Helsinki for a while. Hanging around, maybe shopping something for her (because I have no extra money atm... so nothing for me :P  ), and yeah. Going to check out one cupcake shop there!

Walldecor.

Hello!

This one is going to be a smaller post, more like an "update". Just couple things I got done today. First three I'm going to keep myself and hang in our living room. Still not sure what I'm going to do with the last one.
Might take it to my work place and give it to my co-workers. The theme fits the cake boutique quite nicely :)

I made these using some plain frames (removing the glass from them), cotton fabric, burlap for the flowers (which I burned) and brads. For the smaller one with golden frames I only used cotton fabric (for now). Here's a link to the site & page I took the idea from: Framed Burnt Fabric . Check it out! :)
Took me a while to find the page again >_>...

The black ones are bigger than the golden one (the flower in the bigger ones wouldn't fit the golden frame).

^ Here's the first three pieces I made. The background is "Vintage" French Macaron themed cotton fabric I bought from eBay. Also have the same fabric in more pastel colours (used on the one below).

^ This is the smaller one, with only a piece of fabric. Thinking of adding some golden buttons etc. to the frame to make it stand out more. Maybe. Still not sure. :P

And that's that! Posting again in couple days when I make those cupcakes! And as soon as I fix one of my cellphone cases I'll post about them too. :)

Ebay purchases 1. And happy International Women's Day!

Hello hello. I didn't get to post yesterday, I was a bit busy and getting up early was very tiring. So I spent all the bright time napping after I got home and then it was already dark outside, and I can't take any good photos with my cellphone if it's dark.

So, this will be my very first eBay purchase post. I'll be posting some of the most resent items I've got.

I've been really getting into golden accessories and jewellery lately, and I also wanted to try out some leopard print. Thank goodness we have eBay, so if something doesn't look good on me, I won't be losing much, since most items I buy are very cheap. :)

^ First is a pair of earrings and a hair piece (thought I prefer using it as a necklace).

^ And then I got two leopard printed scarves. The one on the left is bigger, and the one on the right is very slim and has small fabric "rose" to it. The rose has a clip so I can take it off and put on my hair if I want to.

^ Then I got some Japanese 100% cotton for my craft projects! I'm making some wall decor with these, I bought some frames today, I'll try to post more about them tomorrow. There were so many different kind of patterns to choose from, but I eventually decided on these three.

Last but not least, I got some cellphone rhinestone stickers and some loose gemstones. Going to decorate my cellphone covers with them. I'll see if I get to post about them tomorrow or the day after that. Going to make three different kinds. Wait for it ;)

.......

So there! Some of the new stuff I have. Probably going to get more next week. Also going to post about the wall decor I'm making. I'll be adding a link to the page I first found the ideas, in case someone else wants to try!

Did anyone buy something nice for themselves, or perhaps someone else? Or did someone receive something nice? Please share your thoughts!
